Often, on the same route, because newer ships with the latest attractions are in higher demand. An older ship can be a good-value choice if the features you care about are on board.
Is a guarantee cabin a good way to save?
It can be. You choose a category and the line assigns the cabin later, sometimes in a better category. You give up control over location.
Are cruises cheaper on some days of the week?
Fares depend more on the season and how the sailing is selling than on the weekday of departure, though short weekend getaways can be in higher demand.
Do residents of some states pay less?
